About the coach . . .
We are very lucky to have Coach Oliver Simmons run our camp for us this year!! He is currently the Varsity Boys coach for Redwing High School. He attended high school in Tennessee where he was named Mr. Basketball two years in a row and also won a State Championship. He then went on to play for The University of Kentucky and was a part of the NCAA Championship team in 1996. He then transferred to Florida State University and was a starter his last 2 years. He played professionally both over seas and in the US. He has since been coaching High School Basketball for the last 17 years with this past season being his first season in Redwing.
