Basketball Camp
The Minnesota Max offers a camp for 3rd-12th grade. The focus of the camp is very heavy on fundamental skill development such as ball handling, passing, shooting and footwork. Those skills will be put together as the campers move to game play including 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5. This will be a fun but challenging camp aimed at improving the skills of each and every player!! We do expect players come ready to "Play to the MAX!"
2023 Sessions
2nd grade- 5th grade: 8:00am - 9:30am
*basket height will be lowered as needed for
the youngest group*

Meet your Minnesota Max Camp Coach!
We are very lucky to have Coach Oliver Simmons return again to run our camp for us this year!!
Coach Simmons is currently the Varsity Boys coach for Red Wing High School. He attended high school in Tennessee where he was named "Mr. Basketball" two years in a row and also won a State Championship. He then went on to play for The University of Kentucky and was a part of the NCAA Championship team in 1996. He then transferred to Florida State University and was a starter his last 2 years. He played professionally both over seas and in the US. He has since been coaching High School Basketball for the last 17 years with this year being his fourth season in Red Wing.
Coach Simmons has done an amazing job with the girls over many past years.
We are very excited to have him back!!
