GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP
CAMP INFO:
Sessions:
4th grade - 8th grade: This session will have an emphasis on a range of skill development including ball handling, passing and shooting. Those skills will be put together as the campers move to game play including 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5. This will be a fun but challenging camp aimed at improving the skills of each and every player!!
9th grade - 12th grade: This session will have an emphasis on shooting form and footwork, attacking the rim and decision making. Please come ready to have fun but also be ready to work hard!!
Dates:
August 1st-4th
Times:
4th grade - 8th grade: 9:00am - 11:30am (emphasis on a range of skill development and also game play)
9th grade - 12th grade: 12:00pm-1:30pm (emphasis on shooting/scoring/attacking the rim)
*limited space for the high school session so register now!

MEET THE COACH . . .
We are very lucky to have Coach Oliver Simmons return again to run our camp for us this year!! He is currently the Varsity Boys coach for Red Wing High School. He attended high school in Tennessee where he was named Mr. Basketball two years in a row and also won a State Championship. He then went on to play for The University of Kentucky and was a part of the NCAA Championship team in 1996. He then transferred to Florida State University and was a starter his last 2 years. He played professionally both over seas and in the US. He has since been coaching High School Basketball for the last 17 years with this past year being his second season in Red Wing. He did an amazing job with the girls last year so we are very excited to have him back!!
